SCOM-100 is a low cost, DIN rail mounted controller unit for alarm annunciation and remote control using SMS. The main unit incorporates a Quad Band (850/900/1800/1900MHz) GSM/GPRS modem, 2 analog inputs, 4 digital inputs, 4 power relay outputs and a serial RS-232 port. Front panel LED indicators monitor control and digital I/O states.
A variety of I/O expansion units (digital and analog I/O) can be cascaded on the serial I/O expansion bus to meet the application requirements.

Simple setup and operation
All setup and control is done using your mobile phone. Simply insert a SIM card with your name and phone number in the phone list and press the start up button during power up! Simple ASCII configuration commands are used for unit setup and control. Several commands can be packed in one SMS. The RS-232 interface can be used to alternatively setup and test the unit using a PC or an ASCII terminal.
The rich command set features commands for configuring input alarm parameters, setup of irrigation and time scheduled programs, control functions like on/off and PID control, defining user groups and controlling system outputs with time related parameters.

Wide range of applications

- Home & garden automation
- Security systems
- Fire and smoke alarm systems
- Building management & facility control
- Greenhouse controls & irrigation systems
- Remote control and telemetry
- M2M systems

- Simple SMS commands for both configuration & control!
- SMS commands can be passed through the local serial port using the hyperterminal, for testing and commissioning.
- Extended internal functions for facility control as ON/OFF control, PID control, Real time scheduling, etc.
- Discrete recipient alarming.
- Bundled PC software (SCOM Configurator) for convenient setup and commissioning.
- Several operation modes, including emergency stop, low power operation, etc.

- Easy firmware upgrade.

Professional features - SCADA over GPRS
An OPC driver is available for connecting SCOM-100 units to popular SCADA systems. A few SMS ASCII commands are used for setup and control of the GPRS functionality. The OPC server supports several, distributed SCOM-100 units, limited only by the total I/O number. Static IP or VPN network addresses for the SCOM-100 units are not required! All SMS functionality remains intact during GPRS operation.
