Temperature sensors and transmitters for Pt1000 with RS485 or RS232 serial output

Measured temperature from Pt1000/3850ppm sensor is converted to digital serial output with the RS485 or RS232 link parameters. The RS485 transmitter circuitry is galvanically isolated from power circuitry to prevent collision in RS485 network.
Degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit are user selectable. Computerized design ensures maximum long term stability and fail indication. Probes and transducers work with ModBus RTU communication protocol or with Advantech ADAM compatible protocol. Protocol is user selectable in special configuration mode by means of the PC. Serial link enables to read actual readings and modify transducer configuration. Instrument works always in slave mode, i.e. responds only to master device query. Transducers have the address space available from 1 to 255.
The T0310 probe and T4311 RS232 transducer can be powered directly from the PC port or from external ac/dc adapter.

Free program TSensor for configuring of the transmitter is ready to download.

Free program SensorReader for logging values from one transmitter to a PC disk file is ready to download. Program enables to alarm acoustically the PC user if adjusted alarm limits are exceeded. Recorded values in CSV format are easy to process in e.g. Excel. Program can be started several times on a computer at the same time to monitor values from several transmitters.

For acquiring values from several transmitters, third party software is necessary to use. Tested functionality is with programs:

LabVIEW from National Instruments, by means of the free Modbus Library for LabVIEW. For viewing of actual values and graphs from Tx41x, Tx31x transmitters following example of application was created in LabVIEW 8.5 : RS232-485.vi

Tested functionality is also with programs:

Probe T0310 and transducer T4311 with the RS232 output have included 1.6 meter cable for communication with RS232 computer port. The Tx31x RS232 transmitters can be powered directly from the COM port of the PC by means of the included communication cable or from external ac/dc adapter.
